Duties

  • Probate & Estate Administration: Assist clients with navigating the probate process, ensuring compliance with Indiana laws, and protecting the distribution of assets.
  • Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth research on case law, statutes, and regulations to inform legal strategies and case decisions.
  • Document Drafting & Review: Prepare and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, wills, and other probate-related paperwork.
  • Client Advisory: Offer clear and concise legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts and outlining potential case strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys to ensure smooth progression of cases and to meet clients' needs efficiently.
  • Case Management: Maintain organized and accurate records for each case, ensuring all documentation is compliant with legal standards.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Indiana State Bar.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in real estate litigation and probate law (preferred).
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex legal matters to clients.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
