Duties:

• Represent clients in various HOA-related legal matters, including contract negotiations, disputes, and compliance issues.
• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to homeowners associations, real estate developers, and other stakeholders.
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, covenants, and bylaws.
• Handle litigation matters, including discovery, court appearances, mediation, and trial support.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis of relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.
• Manage case files, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in HOA law and related regulations.

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in HOA or real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, HOA governing documents, and California real estate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage a heavy caseload.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Westlaw.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member of the California State Bar.
