Duties:

  • Provide legal representation to clients in immigration court and with USCIS.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of immigration matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.
  • Stay informed and maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law.
  • Advocate for clients in court, hearings, and negotiations with immigration authorities and prosecutors.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and briefs.
  • Provide representation in removal defense, focusing on cases involving criminal charges or convictions.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (required).
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing immigration law.
  • Proven experience representing clients in immigration courts and administrative proceedings.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume caseload.
  • Strong track record of zealous advocacy and excellent oral advocacy skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the state bar in good standing.
