A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its business litigation team. Duties

  • Case Management: Oversee a variety of business litigation matters, including breach of contract, corporate disputes, and other commercial issues.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and provide clients with informed legal advice.
  • Litigation Support: Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing case updates and advising on strategy.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff; mentor junior team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation
  • Prior experience in North Carolina Business Court and Federal Court preferred
  • A book of business is preferred but not required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications and Skills

  • Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
