Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including class actions and individual cases.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to employers on compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies for resolving disputes.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.

  • Mentor and train junior associates and interns as needed.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation and class actions.
  • Proven experience handling wage and hour issues.
