The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience working on commercial real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to structure, negotiate, and close real estate deals.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic counsel on real estate equity matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as joint venture agreements, acquisition agreements, and financing documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on complex real estate issues.
  • Manage client relationships and offer support through the lifecycle of transactions.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in real estate equity transactions, specifically with joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Experience at a top-tier law firm, handling substantive commercial real estate matters.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and commercial transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex deals and interact with clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the state bar (Illinois preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills in the context of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
