Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Jose, CA is seeking a motivated Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience in insurance litigation. The role requires strong litigation skills, excellent academic credentials, and proficiency in legal research and writing.

Job Duties:

• Manage overall litigation cases, including drafting motions, handling discovery requests, and taking depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Conduct thorough legal research on insurance coverage issues and related legal matters.
• Prepare persuasive legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents.
• Analyze insurance policies and provide strategic advice to clients regarding coverage disputes.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to develop case strategies and achieve litigation objectives.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 2-7 years of experience in insurance litigation, with a strong understanding of coverage disputes.
• Strong academic credentials with exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and presentation of legal arguments.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under deadlines.
