Duties:

  • Develop and implement detailed legal strategies for family law cases.
  • Review and approve all legal documentation prepared by support staff.
  • Participate in mediations, depositions, and negotiations to achieve settlements.
  • Efficiently handle and respond to discovery requests.
  • Advocate for clients in various legal proceedings, including status conferences and motion hearings.
  • Draft critical legal documents such as parenting plans, settlement agreements, and final orders.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to strengthen case positions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in family law, particularly in the metro Atlanta area.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Confidence, attention to detail, self-motivation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle a range of family law cases, from uncontested divorces to complex contested cases involving children and assets.
  • Trial experience is required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing of the Georgia State Bar.
