Job Overview

A prominent law firm is actively seeking a mid-level attorney to join its General Liability practice group in the Philadelphia office. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of general liability litigation matters across Pennsylvania. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation and insurance defense cases in a collaborative and professionally supportive environment.

Location

• Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Duties

• Manage a caseload of general liability and insurance defense litigation matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct and respond to written discovery

• Take and defend depositions

• Represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, and trials

• Provide strategic legal advice and analysis throughout all phases of litigation

• Maintain active communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability or insurance defense

• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania civil litigation procedures

• Experience with all stages of litigation from intake through resolution

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar strongly preferred
