A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Foreclosure Attorney to join their prestigious Foreclosure Department. This role offers newly barred attorneys an experiential opportunity to manage loan portfolios, draft legal documents, attend court hearings, and ensure compliance with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of loans throughout the foreclosure process.
  • Draft and review pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents related to foreclosure actions.
  • Attend court hearings and effectively communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections regulations.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Produce accurate and high-quality work products independently.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal and analytical skills to resolve legal issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably in foreclosure.
  • Newly barred attorneys are welcome to apply.
  • Bar membership in North Carolina.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer and general office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with basic principles of Quality Assurance/Quality Control is preferred.
