Duties:

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in collaboration with inventors, engineers, and attorneys.

  • Assist with post-grant proceedings and contribute to standards-essential patent strategies.

  • Advise on the scope of protection and align filing strategies with client innovation goals.

  • Stay current on developments in intellectual property law and relevant technologies.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on patent portfolio management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in patent drafting and prosecution.

  • Familiarity with technologies such as wireless telecommunications, integrated circuits, communication networks, computer hardware/software, data security, artificial intelligence, or medical wearables.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Authorized to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.

Certifications:

  • Registration to practice before the USPTO as a Patent Agent (required).
