Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team in Valley Forge, PA. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills, and will handle various aspects of workers' compensation cases. This role involves case management, client representation, and trial preparation. Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive file reviews and legal analysis of workers’ compensation claims.
• Perform extensive legal research and draft client correspondence, discovery devices, case summaries, appeals, and appellate briefs.
• Represent clients regularly at depositions and hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.
• Prepare for and attend trials, including all necessary trial preparation activities.
• Retain and evaluate expert witnesses as needed for case development.
• Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania; admission to additional states is a plus but not required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
