Job Title: Senior Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Attorney to join their team. This role focuses on commercial real estate transactions, particularly those involving multifamily development projects funded by tax credits, bonds, and conventional debt. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing complex real estate matters, with a strong emphasis on development finance and the ability to handle title and survey issues. Attention to detail and a capacity for high-volume document production are essential.

Duties:

• Lead and manage complex commercial real estate transactions involving multifamily development, bond financing, tax credits, and debt financing.
• Review and resolve title and survey issues to ensure smooth project progress.
• Work collaboratively with the legal team to produce a high volume of accurate, comprehensive documents under tight deadlines.
• Offer expert legal advice on all aspects of real estate development and financing.
• Guide contract negotiations and due diligence for real estate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to real estate deals, including zoning, land use, and environmental considerations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial transactions and multifamily development.
• Proven expertise in handling complex real estate issues, including title and survey matters.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a heavy caseload independently and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of real estate law, particularly multifamily and commercial transactions.
• Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Proficient in managing complex financial and legal documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while handling individual responsibilities.
