The ideal candidate will have strong skills in deposition handling, case management from Notice of Intent (NOI) through trial, and excellent communication and writing abilities. Duties:

  • Defend clients in medical malpractice claims from NOI through trial.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Handle litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation in state and federal courts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed about case developments.
  • Attend court hearings and trials as required.

Requirements:

  • 2.5-5 years of experience in medical malpractice defense.
  • Experience in taking and defending depositions.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cases independently and collaboratively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar admission is required.
