Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough due diligence for finance transactions, ensuring comprehensive understanding and accuracy.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on both lender and borrower side matters.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development efforts.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high responsiveness.
  • Ensure exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Deliver outstanding customer/client service, promptly addressing client needs and concerns.

Requirements

  • 6-15 years of substantial experience in finance matters.
  • Proven ability to lead transactions in a first chair capacity is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of lender and borrower side work, including loan documentation and due diligence.
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating credit agreements and related loan documents.
  • Portable book of business preferred.
  • Demonstrated business development capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer/client service skills.
  • Admission to the Michigan Bar is required.
