Duties:

• Defend and litigate employment-related claims in lawsuits and agency charges
• Advise and counsel employers on labor law issues
• Provide training for employers on employment law matters
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediation
• Handle employment matters involving class actions, collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, employment contracts, and non-compete agreements
• Preferred but not required: Class Action/PAGA experience

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience, with a focus on employment law strongly preferred
• Active admission to the California State Bar in good standing
• Solid understanding of state and federal agency procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License
