Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to join its growing team. The position requires expertise in all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and a strong interest in gaining further experience in this area. The ideal candidate will manage complex litigation matters, coordinate eDiscovery projects, and interact closely with case teams and clients. This is a non-partnership track position. Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction they are applying for.

Location:

  • Baltimore, MD

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery work on complex litigation cases.
  • Supervise and coordinate the execution of eDiscovery projects to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the case team (including partners) and clients regarding eDiscovery project execution and status.
  • Collaborate with case teams, clients, and vendors for identification and collection of client data.
  • Prepare accurate budgets/estimates for review projects, and handle monthly revenue forecasting and invoice review.
  • Design and manage document review workflows, including the quality control process.
  • Oversee the preparation of document productions.
  • Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to ensure quality work product and performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery (in-house, law firm, or government).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where applying.
