Entry-level Workers' Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeks an Entry-level Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. Duties:

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation proceedings, advocating for their best interests throughout the process
• Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex issues, and develop effective strategies for clients' cases
• Participate in hearings and engage in settlement negotiations, ensuring favorable outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to gather evidence and strengthen case positions
• Manage and track the progress of cases from initial filings through resolution
• Communicate with clients regularly to update them on case status and provide legal advice

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law
• Active California State Bar License and membership in good standing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Collaborative mindset and a strong desire to support team initiatives

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership in good standing
