Trial Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced trial attorney to advocate for clients in court proceedings and manage all aspects of litigation, including trial strategy, case preparation, and courtroom representation. Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research to establish robust case strategies.
• Collect and assess evidence, interview witnesses, and collaborate with investigators.
• Develop comprehensive trial plans and articulate case theories.
• Represent clients in trials, hearings, motions, and other legal proceedings.
• Deliver persuasive opening and closing statements.
• Examine and cross-examine witnesses during courtroom proceedings.
• Advocate for clients by presenting and arguing legal motions and objections.
• Draft and file accurate and timely legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Maintain compliance with courtroom rules and professional etiquette.
• Engage in pre-trial negotiations, including settlement discussions and plea bargaining.
• Regularly communicate with clients to update them on case developments and advise on legal options.
• Stay informed of changes in legal procedures, laws, and precedents.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a trial attorney with a record of successful outcomes.
• Strong oral advocacy skills and the ability to present complex legal arguments effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant legal standards, regulations, and precedents.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
