A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting pleadings, managing motion practice, attending court proceedings, conducting legal research, and maintaining effective communication with clients and legal entities. The position requires travel to the client's office in Tucson for notary purposes. Duties:

  • Draft pleadings and related correspondence for all phases of litigation.
  • Manage motion practice and attend court when required during the litigation journey.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to make compelling legal arguments and provide valuable insights to Firm clients.
  • Accurately document account and file activity in accordance with Firm and client guidelines.
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with Firm clients, opposing counsel, opposing parties, and court officials.
  • Travel to the client’s office located in Tucson when applicable to execute Certificates of Conformity with a notary.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be in good standing and qualified to practice law in the State of Arizona.

  • Proficient in drafting pleadings and legal correspondence.
