Duties

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders for various family law cases.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals to navigate the civil litigation process efficiently.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling family law cases.
  • Proven ability to represent both plaintiffs and defendants in legal disputes.
  • Strong litigation experience, particularly in family law matters such as child custody, support, and equitable distribution.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting discovery.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations.

Education

  • A bachelor's degree with a legal background.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
