A law firm is seeking a Trust And estate attorney in New York City, NY.

Job Overview:

The Trust And Estates Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and strategic advice in matters related to complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and trusts & estates administration. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience, preferably with some business background.

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on estate planning strategies tailored to clients' needs.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Assist clients in creating asset protection plans to safeguard wealth and mitigate potential risks.
  • Manage the administration of trusts and estates, including asset distribution, tax planning, and probate proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on trusts and estates.
  • Strong background in complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and trusts & estates administration.
  • LLM in Taxation or CPA certification required.
  • Admitted to the New York Bar.
