Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Rockville, MD. Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Manage case files and documentation efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in litigation.
  • Experience in medical malpractice/insurance defense is a plus.
  • Must have experience entering billable time.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, and research skills.
  • Licensed to practice in MD, with licensure in DC and VA being a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Maryland.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
