Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation related to employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage disputes, and retaliation.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents.
• Provide expert legal advice on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Review and advise on employment contracts, handbooks, policies, and severance agreements.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Represent clients before agencies such as the EEOC, DFEH, or NLRB.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal solutions.
• Stay informed on evolving employment laws and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely counsel.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar membership.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in Employment Law.
• Proven track record of handling cases from initiation to resolution.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases effectively and meet deadlines.
• Client-oriented with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License (active).

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
• Advanced legal research and writing skills.
