Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated Real Estate Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience handling real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Familiarity with securities offerings is a plus. This professional track role can be structured as either a full-time or part-time position and is open to multiple office locations, including Chicago, IL; Reston, VA; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on legal aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financings.

  • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate investments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for real estate investment opportunities.

  • Provide legal guidance on fund structures and investment strategies.

  • Stay informed about changes in real estate law and financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law.

  • Strong understanding of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.

  • Familiarity with securities offerings is advantageous.

  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
