Duties

  • Manage approximately 100 active personal injury litigation cases with paralegal support
  • Lead case strategy and oversee the entire litigation process, including:
    • Discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
    • Mediations and trials when necessary
  • Negotiate with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers to secure favorable outcomes
  • Handle settlements, including the disbursement of funds to clients, lienholders, and other relevant parties
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to refine litigation strategies and expand legal expertise

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a personal injury plaintiff attorney
  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • Demonstrated litigation proficiency, including depositions, mediations, and trial work
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing a high caseload effectively

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
