Job Overview: A leading personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Suit Attorney to handle cases related to personal injury claims. The attorney will be responsible for gathering key documents and evidence, negotiating settlement offers, drafting demand letters, and facilitating case settlements. This is a full-time position, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a highly respected firm while managing a caseload and supporting clients through the personal injury claims process.

Location:

  • Jacksonville Beach, FL

Duties:

  • Manage and negotiate personal injury cases with insurance companies

  • Effectively handle a full caseload, ensuring timely progress and resolution of claims

  • Supervise a full-time legal assistant dedicated to case management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure transparency and satisfaction

  • Open new files, establish initial contact with clients, and ensure ongoing communication throughout the process

  • Conduct thorough investigations for each case, gathering and analyzing relevant documents and data

  • Verify insurance coverage and address liability issues while maintaining communication with insurance providers

  • Oversee client medical care and assist in scheduling appointments, explaining procedures, and providing necessary documentation

  • Review and monitor medical records, case status, and progress to ensure comprehensive case preparation

  • Organize and maintain case files in preparation for demand writing

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Florida Bar Association in good standing

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to empathize with clients during challenging times and provide clear guidance

  • A determined approach to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Consistent attendance, reliability, and integrity

  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing

Skills:

  • Proficient in managing personal injury cases from start to finish

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of client care

  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills
