The firm specializes in defending clients against various civil litigation matters, including professional liability, construction defects, employment practices, and other claims. Duties:

• Conduct pre-complaint investigations and case analysis
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Prepare and argue law and motion matters
• Take and defend depositions
• Provide trial preparation support, including strategy development
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Offer legal counsel to clients on a wide range of issues
• Work alongside senior attorneys to implement effective litigation strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of civil defense litigation experience
• Strong understanding of insurance defense and professional liability matters
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
• Proven experience in drafting legal documents and motions
• Experience in taking and defending depositions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with the California State Bar in good standing
