Position Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in defense litigation. The role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong foundation in legal expertise, particularly in areas such as product liability, toxic tort, and general liability. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional legal solutions and outcomes for a diverse client base. The position requires a mix of remote and in-office work (minimum of one day per week).

Duties

• Lead defense litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and support staff.
• Provide expert advice and legal representation on product liability, toxic tort, and general liability matters.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, draft motions, and prepare for trials.
• Handle multiple cases simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Engage in all phases of litigation, including discovery, deposition, and trial preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in defense litigation.
• Experience with product liability, toxic tort, and/or general liability cases.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in both Missouri and Illinois.
