Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years of experience in Labor & Employment and/or Commercial Litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. The role requires significant experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on handling complex cases and providing strategic legal counsel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and litigate commercial disputes from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases.
• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other commercial issues.
• Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients on commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed written analyses, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and handle all aspects of trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Stay current with developments in commercial litigation law and industry trends.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in Labor & Employment and/or Commercial Litigation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.
• Experience managing complex commercial litigation cases.
• Proven ability to provide strategic legal counsel and handle all aspects of litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
