The candidate should ideally have an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S. with several years industry experience) in chemistry, with a strong emphasis in organic or medicinal chemistry, be registered to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and be admitted to a State Bar (MA preferred).
