Job Title: Personal Injury Trial Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm located in Frankfort, KY is seeking a passionate and experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join their team. Duties:

  • Handle personal injury and civil litigation cases from intake through settlement or trial.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress.
  • Take and defend depositions as part of case preparation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions and briefs.
  • Lead mediations and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
  • Develop and execute case strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Prepare for and conduct jury trials.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation (5+ years preferred).
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Kentucky State Bar.
  • Proven track record of successful jury trials.
  • Experience drafting and responding to motions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.

Certifications:

  • Must be an active member of the Kentucky State Bar.
