General Liability Associate Attorney

A law firm in Iselin, NJ is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience. The role involves working on commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accidents, and product liability cases. This is a full-time position requiring strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Duties:

• Handle a range of general liability cases, including commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accidents, and product liability.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, including trial preparation.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff in a fast-paced work environment.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
• Maintain a high level of communication with clients, addressing their needs and expectations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on general liability preferred.
• Trial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume work environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
