A law firm seeks a dynamic and skilled Employment Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team in Los Angeles, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of employment litigation cases, including handling all phases of the litigation process. Duties:

  • Manage employment litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop and execute case strategies, collaborating with partners and other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and developments.
  • Engage in trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings.
  • Maintain compliance with the firm’s billing requirements and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing abilities to deliver exceptional work products.
  • Proven experience managing a litigation caseload independently, including court appearances and depositions.
  • Admission to practice law in California is required; admission in Nevada is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
