Associate Attorney needed for Atlanta office

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and demand letters.
• Assist in the discovery process by depositing, drafting requests/responses, and reviewing documents.
• Negotiate settlements, participate in mediation, and make court appearances as required.
• Perform thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Review, edit, and draft contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Independently manage case progression and handle multiple deadlines effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, counsel, and internal team members.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and interns to achieve case objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar License in good standing.
• 1-4 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in business litigation.
• Interest in transportation law is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
