Energy Associate Attorney

A law firm in Columbus is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience for its energy mineral title and division order practice. The ideal candidate should have experience commensurate with time in practice and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and legal teams.

Duties:

• Handle general property and/or mineral title matters in the energy sector.
• Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to energy law.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Assist with negotiations and settlements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on energy-related issues.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in energy mineral title and division order practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and legal teams.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
