Duties:

  • Manage estate planning and probate matters, including wills, trusts, and estate administration.

  • Handle probate and trust litigation cases as necessary.

  • Draft legal documents related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.

  • Provide clients with strategic advice regarding estate and tax planning.

  • Work with clients on issues related to trust administration and probate proceedings.

  • Conduct research and provide guidance on complex probate and estate planning matters.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient case management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estate planning, probate administration, and related litigation.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage a demanding caseload.

  • Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week.

  • LLM in tax or estate planning, or substantial experience in these areas, preferred.

  • Experience drafting and managing wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Florida State Bar Admission.

  • LLM in tax or estate planning preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
