Job Overview:

A mid-size law firm in Encino, CA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including professional liability, employment claims, and commercial disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and trial, if necessary.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of litigation experience.
• Interest and ability to defend professionals in liability claims.
• Strong background in employment claims and commercial litigation.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar (required).
