Mid-level Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its Atlanta office. This position is an immediate opportunity for an attorney with two to four years of experience to contribute to a dynamic and multifaceted litigation practice.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents, including briefs and motions (such as motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions in limine).
• Take and defend depositions, providing support as necessary.
• Manage discovery processes for complex litigation matters.
• Prepare cases for trial, including participating in evidentiary hearings.
• Collaborate with team members in a collegial environment to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Meet deadlines efficiently while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar License.
• 2 to 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in a similar law firm setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Georgia.

Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience in researching and drafting litigation-related documents.
• Familiarity with trial preparation and evidentiary hearings in state or federal courts.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performance team while fostering a culture of mutual respect.
