A law firm in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks a skilled Real Estate Attorney to provide legal counsel on a variety of real estate transactions. Duties:

  • Advise clients, including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers, on a broad range of real estate matters.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and other transactional documents.

  • Structure deals to protect clients’ interests, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

  • Conduct due diligence related to real estate acquisitions, financings, developments, and leasing.

  • Provide guidance on zoning, land use regulations, and other compliance matters.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate law, with a focus on corporate or commercial transactions.

  • Active license to practice law in Nebraska or eligibility for admission.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate legal risks.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively advising clients and drafting legal documents.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Nebraska State Bar or eligibility for admission.
