Litigation Attorney

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and presenting arguments in court.
• Analyze and evaluate complex legal matters, identify potential risks, and develop effective strategies.
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases, ensuring timely and efficient handling of all legal matters.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and experts to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Demonstrate leadership by taking initiative on cases and contributing to developing junior attorneys and support staff.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation.
• Must be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska.
• Demonstrated ability to examine and analyze cases and documents for inherent legal risks.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive, action-oriented approach to responsibilities.
• Excellent leadership skills with a capacity to handle increased levels of responsibility.
• Effective analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Nebraska or eligibility to become licensed in Nebraska.
