Duties:

• Advise clients on legal rights and prepare necessary legal documents related to their cases.
• Attend pretrial hearings, counsel clients on strategies after each hearing, and recommend next steps.
• Manage courtroom appearances, trial preparations, drafting motions, and interviewing witnesses.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case outcomes based on legal precedents.
• Handle a diverse caseload effectively, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide legal analysis and advice to clients regarding potential case advantages.
• Gather additional evidence to strengthen the client's case or to counter prosecution arguments.
• Prepare clients for depositions, set case goals, and collect testimonies and insights from relevant witnesses and experts.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in Criminal Defense.
• Proven experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong collaboration skills, with a willingness to strategize and work closely with team members.
• High-level interpersonal abilities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law.

Certifications:

• Membership in the State Bar.
