Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This established law firm has a presence in Colorado, Arizona, and Utah, specializing in various areas, including Administrative and Licensing Law, Appellate Law, Civil Litigation, General Insurance Law, Labor and Employment Law, Subrogation and Recovery, and Workers’ Compensation. The firm is looking for tenacious and experienced attorneys who are eager to contribute to a diverse portfolio of workers' compensation cases.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of workers' compensation claims for clients in Colorado and Nebraska.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate effective case management skills to maintain deadlines and organization.
• Prepare thoroughly for depositions and court hearings.
• Utilize analytical skills to evaluate case details and develop strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive working environment.
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced legal setting.
• Participate in a mentoring program to enhance professional development.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Colorado; multi-state licensing is a plus.
• Experience in litigation preferred, or a strong desire to learn about litigation processes.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, schedules, and case documents efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Colorado Bar License (required).
