Commercial Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will manage a fast-paced commercial litigation practice, representing clients in complex legal disputes. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters across a variety of industries.
• Handle all aspects of litigation from inception to trial or settlement, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trials.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve client goals.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft complex legal documents such as motions and briefs.
• Attend and argue in court on behalf of clients in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with partners and other legal staff on case strategy and client communications.
• Maintain a high level of client interaction, providing strategic counsel and regular updates.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York Bar (required).
• Admission to the New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania Bar (preferred, but not required).
• Salary range: $135,000 to $210,000, based on experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New York Bar License.
• New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania Bar License (a plus).
