Mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a dedicated Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its dynamic litigation team in Miami, FL. This role offers an excellent opportunity to handle a wide range of complex commercial disputes, working both collaboratively and independently in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Manage and execute litigation matters, including case strategy, legal research, drafting pleadings, and motion practice.
• Represent clients in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations.
• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure client needs are met with high-quality legal representation.
• Engage with clients to provide strategic advice and updates on case progress.
• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other business documents related to litigation.
• Maintain compliance with deadlines and court procedures while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of substantive litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Proven ability to handle complex commercial litigation cases.
• Federal court clerkship experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently on individual tasks.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Florida.
• Admission to the New York Bar is an additional advantage.
