The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, excellent writing and analytical skills, and a desire to appear in court. Key Duties:

  • Manage and litigate cases from inception through resolution, including handling all aspects of discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and strategy meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Handle case files and documentation with precision and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, with demonstrated proficiency in managing complex cases.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
  • Desire to appear in court and handle diverse litigation matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar Association.
