Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its Corporate Transactions, Capital Markets, and M&A team. The ideal candidate will have M&A experience, exceptional academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and relevant transactional experience. Location:

Duties:

  • Lead and manage corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets transactions, and other corporate matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements and legal documents.
  • Advise clients on strategic corporate governance issues and business transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide counsel to clients.
  • Manage and mentor junior associates, offering guidance and support in day-to-day tasks.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and market trends.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional legal service and communication.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate transactions, including M&A and capital markets.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating M&A agreements and corporate governance matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters while adhering to deadlines and client needs.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the relevant state (Georgia preferred).

Skills:

  • Expertise in corporate law, M&A, and capital markets transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
