This role focuses on working closely with clients to design and finalize estate plans while overseeing a team of skilled paralegals and client service associates. Duties:

  • Meet with clients to design estate plans, review drafts, and finalize plans.
  • Oversee and manage a team of paralegals and client services associates.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing training and professional development.
  • Provide backup support to the probate and trust administration team when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in estate planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Willingness to work full-time, in-person at the Newport Beach office (part-time hours considered for candidates with caregiver responsibilities or unique circumstances).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law school.

Certifications:

  • Active and good-standing membership with the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in estate planning, including wills, trusts, and asset protection strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
