Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Conduct high-quality legal research and writing.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels within the firm.
  • Manage time and resources efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Gain experience in various practice areas, including M&A due diligence, contract negotiation, and litigation e-discovery.
  • Utilize technology for document review and project management.
  • Collaborate on the firm's initiatives related to practice technologies and legal project management.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ethics and professionalism in all work.
  • Take ownership of assignments and manage projects to successful completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in due diligence and/or litigation discovery.
  • Proven experience with document collections, searches, reviews, and productions.
  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
  • Active attorney license in Michigan, Illinois, or Washington, D.C.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed attorney in good standing in Michigan.

Skills:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in implementing new ideas and approaches.
