A law firm located in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a qualified Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing transactions for developers and investors. Experience with subleases, licenses, easements, loan documents, corporate formation documents, and due diligence materials is essential. Experience with transactions under threat of eminent domain is a plus. Candidates should possess excellent credentials from a top law school, current Bar admission, and prior law firm experience.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related contracts.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence for real estate transactions, including analysis of title reports, surveys, and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare and manage corporate formation documents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle legal matters related to subleases, licenses, easements, and other real estate instruments.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and transactions with developers, investors, and public agencies.
  • Manage and coordinate with internal and external parties, such as clients, opposing counsel, and governmental entities.
  • Assist with real estate transactions involving eminent domain or similar threats to property interests.
  • Stay informed about changes in real estate laws and market trends.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in transactional real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing.
  • Experience with subleases, licenses, easements, loan documents, and corporate formation documents.
  • Knowledge of transactions under threat of eminent domain is advantageous.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a top law school.
  • Current Bar admission in California.
  • Prior experience working in a law firm is required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar admission in California.
